This is the new means that would be made to open files. So where is the File browser?. It is places in two locations. One is Windows Menu > File Browser and the other is File Menu > Browse, as shown in below Figures.

By clicking on the File Browser it will open a Window Called File browser, as seen in below Figure.

You can Resize it according to your need, either you can resize the inner windows of the file browser. We are going to see benefits to it on the Open Dialog box. You can view all the images as Thumbnails in the File browser. You can browse your folders to find images in the left Menu in File Browser. If you want to open an Image in the Photoshop Workspace, Just double click on the image in the file browser and it will automatically open the image in the workspace and the image is ready to be modified. So the file browser is the great way to open the files as well as the open Command, but there is more and we are going to look at that, in just a brief moment.
When you click on any image in the File Browser, you see a larger preview of the image in the left of the File Browser. You can see the details of your image selected in the left bottom corner of the File Browser as shown in below figure.

It shows the file name , date created, image format, image resolution, and all the information you need about the image.
So this is our File Browser and we are going to investigate it more deeply now.
