I like to go ahead and start off by opening Photoshop for the first time. On the left side of the Photoshop You have Tools or the Tool Bar, As you can see in the Left Figure. The Tool bar is where all the tools are kept.

Above the Tool bar is the options Bar as shown in the below figure. This is a contextual menu that works in conjunction with what tool has been selected, this will change in your option TooChange based on the tool selected.

On the right you can see boxes with some options in it. There are more boxes which are currently hidden, You can view all of the them by selecting in the Window Menu, You can show hide any which you like. The Selected ones in the Window Menu will be available to us in the main window, and the Unselected ones will be hidden. The Snapshot of the Default boxes shown in Main is displayed in the Left Figure. You can see Navigator, Color, Swatches Styles, history, Channels, Paths.

Above all this in the Photoshop workspace are our Menus, and our menus start with ‘File’ and go all way right to ‘Help’, as shown in below picture.

So this will be our common interface regardless of platform that we all are going to use during this Training on Photoshop.
