Now lets create our very first document in Photoshop. Go to the File Menu and Choose ‘New’. As shown in this picture.
If you want to do this from keyboard then Ctrl+N on PC and Command+N on Mac.
Now pressing the New button will open a new Dialog box, shown in below picture.
Name you document where it says ‘Name’. I typed ‘My First New Document’. And press OK. Note that we have accepted the default settings for the image, these can be modified. The new document is shown below.
Now a new document is made and you can begin working in it. You can see its title bar, it says, ‘My First New Document’.
