Creating a New File in Adobe Photoshop Check Broken Links / Images on Entire Site - 404 Checkers

So now, lets create a new document, but now we want to have pre-sets. Go to the ‘File’ Menu then ‘New’ or Ctrl+N. You will see this dialog box.


 
Now we have our preset sizes, size of the image is shown at the top of the presets. Now click on the Preset Sizes currently ‘Default Photoshop Size’.


 
Click on it to open the menu list.


 
There is a long list of presets to choose. At first of list we have ‘Letter’, ‘Legal’, ‘Tabloid’, these are actual file sizes, that resembles document sizes. So if I choose Letter, then i will get following settings in the dialog box.


 
Height is 8.5, Width 11 and the Resolution is 300 Pixels/Inch, it will print beautifully. It will be in RGB color. All these settings resembles to the presets we already made in advance.

Now lets look at legal. Choose Legal from the presets list. You will get the following settings in the dialog box.


 
Now its 11 by 14, and 300 Pixels per inch.
And then choose tabloid and see the changes. but these are all US sizes, what if we want to see European sizes? , At the end of the list you have A4,A3, B5, B4, B3, So lets choose A4. You will get the following settings.


 
Notice that the settings are now no longer in Inches, they are in millimeters. You can also choose Centimeters by clicking on the mm and choosing cm. So its 210 by 297 millimeters and 300 Pixels per inch. Now choose other A3, B5, B4, B4 from the presets list and watch the changes, these are European sizes. But what if we want to do that with pixel sizes?. You have many preset pixel sizes. Select any one of it. I selected 460×60 web Banner.

Now we also have preset sizes for Videos. You can try of all the sizes to and see the changes. Shown below.
