Adobe allows us to Collapse palettes. This is a very useful option if you don’t have enough room on the screen for your document. Collapsing palettes means you can only see the title and name of the palette and the rest of it is hidden. To collapse a palette double click on the name of the palette or the title bar as outlined below.


 
After double clicking on name or title you will get the following display.


 
It will be better to use the following arrangement of palettes, if you want to collapse the palette to save up the space.


 
This will save a lot of screen for your document window.
