Once creating a Document, one of the more important feature that face us is one of the five document modes shown in this image:


 
And usually by default RGB color is selected. Now there are five options and I am going to show you each of them.

Bitmap Mode:
The preview of document in bitmap mode is shown below.


 
The first thing we notice is that it is very pixilated. The pixels are either black or white. There is no grey between them. Bitmap basically means that your artwork will be black or white.
Greyscale Mode:

The preview of document in Greyscale mode is shown below.


 
It is also somewhat pixilated but it has lot more details to it, it has more softness, We can do some good stuff with Greyscale mode as far as the black and white mode.

RGB, CMYL and Lab Mode:
There look like almost the same. but RBG is the one which we are going to use because it produces best results.
