Norton Personal Firewall can be blocking your access to secure sites, such as online banking sites. By default, it lets you use those sites, but it seems as it your settings have been changed. Here’s how to fix them:
1. In the Norton Personal Firewall, double-click Personal Firewall and choose Advanced > General Rules. Scroll down until you find the rule that blocks access to secure site. Uncheck the box next to it and click OK.
2. Try to connect to the site. If you’re still having problems, click Privacy Control > Configure > Custom Level.
3. Make sure you turn on the “Enable Secure Connection” option. Click OK and then OK again.
4. Close your browser and Norton Personal Firewall, then open them both up again. You’ll now be able to connect to the secure site.
