As expected, Google have acquired Really Simple Syndication (RSS) Management system FeedBurner on friday for $100 Million, terms of deals were not disclosed. More than 400,000 publishers of Feedburner will now be able to join Google Adsense program, Susan Wojcicki said in a conference call, who is vice president of product management at Google.
This acquisition was to gain bigger share of online advertising from its rival Yahoo, and Microsoft. Once the deal closes, Google will sell adverting with the Feedburner content it delivers on websites.
